Be It Hot Or Cold, Fine Or Casual Dining, Tasty Or Nasty, Avant-Garde Or Just Plain Conventional, I'm Not Afraid To Give It A Try As Long As It's Edible.

I'm Still Exploring, One Scrumptious Morsel At A Time.

Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks

So The Situation's Like This, I'm Hanging Out In The Gardens with My Pal to Celebrate The End of Our First-Year University Life.
Then One Problem arose, We're Too Broke For Lunch. It's Exactly A Right Form of Normalcy as We're just Students. Hah!

So, We ended Up in Shihlin..No, Not the Famous Night-Market Street in Taiwan. Instead, It's a Chain of Fast-Food Kiosks serving Taiwanese Snacks in Malaysia, and We're in One of The 'Stalls'..If That's Correctly Said.

First up, I Had The Handmade Oyster Mee Sua...

Well, It was Served in Moderate Proportion, But the Pricing is Reasonable Given a Satisfactory Amount of Shredded Chicken and Mini Oysters..Yes You Heard Me, Mini-Sized Oysters. The Soup-Based is Hot and Tasted just Great, though I Found The Taste to be Too Strong and The Texture to be too Concentrated.

Next Up, I had This Bestseller, XXL Crispy Chicken. Crispy?..Yes. Huge-Sized Bone-In Chicken Meat?..Definitely. Sizzling Hot?..Hell Yeah. Healthy Option?...No, It's too Oily..and I Need to Increase My Jogging Regimen to Shed some Pounds and Lose some Calories..Haha.

What a Day!!!..

Su's Cakes For Kicks ( Self-Customised Mum and Dad's Wedding Anniversary Cake)

Hi There...
So,Me and My Sisters Recently threw a Nice Dinner Party for Our Parents' Wedding Anniversary. Yerpz, Love is a Powerful Will that Makes even The Most Fragile Person Everlastingly Strong. Aww, NO TIME FOR SWEET ROMANTIC LOVE POETRY HERE. Let's get down to Business..haha.

Hence, We Need a Perfect Cake to Complement with the Perfect Occasion. and Nothing will ever Go Wrong in Designing Your Very Own Cake with a Definite Theme albeit Right Amount of Ingredients...Both Ornamental and Fundamental.

So, We Hit The City at Fahrenheit 88 to Visit a Cake-Selling Freestanding Kiosk known as Su's Cakes for Kicks.

Pssk, They Serve arguably the Best Cheesecake around the City.

Love The Wording, Love The Simple Colour Background, Love The Message..Lol.

Voila!!!..This is the Cake that we ordered, It's a Moist Chocolate Cake. Well, My Elder Sister is the Senior Executive Art Director as she took charged mainly 90% of the cake's physical appearance. I As a Mere Designing Advisor, Just managed to slip in a few Tips and Opinions when it comes to Colours and Positions of the Decorating Parts..zzzzzz. Still, We admired The Nearly-Flawless Craftmanship the Bakers have put when it comes to Fulfilling the Customer's Needs.

Succinctly-Saying, We ( The Customers) Supervised, They Improvised.

We Threw in A Beautiful Pair of Wedding Ring...and for the Bonus Part, They Are Edible..Lool.

On The Side, We Keep Things Clean and Simple. The Rose Decorations were Produced From Frozen Cream. While showing the Bakers How we want The Roses Toppled on the Cake, They Pretty Much Get Every Detail Right from Our Concept Drawing in the Sketch.

Check Out the Intricate Details and The Undulating Skirting Pattern of the Petals.

At The Side of The Cake, My Sis decided to go for the Henna Style. Inspired by the Indian Art of Tattoo, The Pattern involves Strings of Crooked Curlies and Dots of Mini Spherical Creams Scattered on the Side. For the circular base, we decided to go for a skirting of Pearls. Well, Not Real Pearls of course Lol.

Of Course, What Lay Inside Within are Thick Layers of Dark Moist Chocolate..It's Sinfully Rich and Subtlely Creamy On the Outside. I Just Can't Get Enough...

So, Till Next Time...
Happy Wedding Anniversary to You, Mum and Dad!!!!! Love You Guys!!!..haha.

Jackie Chan's Cafe Coffee & Tea

During My Recent City Rendezvous , I Stopped by Jackie Chan's Cafe at Lot 10 to grab a Drink...

I Picked a Seat By The Bar Stand...

Chocolate Brownie Frappe is What I Ordered. It's a Grande Glass of Coffee, Chocolate and Brownie Pieces Blended with Ice, Topped with Whipped Cream and Mocha Sauce.

It Tasted just Great, with Brownie Pieces Lingering in the Blended Mix of Coffee and Chocolate, Just Like a Mocha with Brownies. Good Refreshing Stuff if You're Tired of Usual Conventional Coffee Chain.

Lai Po Heen @ Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

Hey There!!!...Today's Post All about Dim-Sum...at the Prestigious Award-Winning Chinese Cuisne Restaurant...

Lai Po Heen at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur.

Upon Entering the Restaurant, One will Spot an Open Kitchen, where there will be Chefs working hard preparing meals and Dim-Sum and Stuff. Oh..Sorry..Food..XD.

Huge Foyer with Nice Oriental-Dining Ambience...

Dine like an Emperor..Kinda...XD

Wok Fried Turnip Cake Hong Kong Style...Sizzling Mouth-Watering Stuff...It's got the Heat...and Packed with a Tasty Punch of course.

Ahh, The Double Jewel.Loolz..Steamed Rice Rolls with Scallops and Parsley...and Steamed Shrimp Rice Rolls with Yellow Chives. Once it's in Your Mouth, You can't Prevent That Bursting of the Shrimp outta that Soft Texture of Rice Skin.Ahh....

Congee with Shredded Chicken and Century Eggs..and Congee with Cod Fish Fillets and Diced Ginger. Tasted just Great,,in Simple Words..just as Pure as the Porridges.

And This One's My Favourite...I'm a Sucker to Steamed Glutinous Rice...XD. Steamed Glutinous Wild Rice with Chicken Floss and Yam Cubes...The Rice is Aromatically Soft...Just as Robust as the Yam Cubes and The Floss..XD.

Deep Fried Vegetarian Parcel with Diced Pumpkin

Ahh, Time for the Main Event----Traditional Beijing Duck served with Condiments...

The Duck Skin can be eaten in Many Ways, Wrapping them Up Together with Vegetable Bits and Pieces in a Tortillo Wrap...That's The Chosen Way We Do That..Haha..

Lay The Duck Skin on a Single Piece of Tortillo Wrap...

Followed by Vegetables and Special Sauce...

Voila..Ready to be Consumed.Hah.
The Skin was Crispy and a Joy of Taste....I Had Lots of These...Say Like...Six??..XD

For The Beijing Duck Meat, we decided to Mince and Fry it...and eaten together with fried rice crackers and vegetable leaflets. The Minced Meat has Crispy Texture...Before Erupting into Mild Salty Taste albeit the Raw Freshness Of The Flesh...

After the Main Course, we decided to order a platter of Oven Baked Mini Fragrant Egg Cream Tarts.Exceptionally Easy on the Palate.

For Dessert, we decided to stop for some delicious Durian Pancake...That's it...Haha..I don't mind coming back to this restaurant again..They have one of the Best Dim-Sum around City..You Could Taste the Difference Here..XD.
