FEELING INCREDIBLY FAMISHED AND STUCKED IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE IN MID-VALLEY,THERE'S ONLY ONE OPTION FOR AN ULTIMATE VALUE MEAL THAT GUARANTEES YOU A FULL BELLY AFTER MEAL....THE SPAGHETTI FARM.


THE RM14.50 MEAL CAME WITH A SOUP,A SOFT DRINK AND A HUGE BOWL OF SPAGHETTI OF YOUR CHOICE.(SELECTION OF FARMHOUSE, BOLOGNAISE, TOMATO AND MANY MORE.).I'VE ORDERED A CARBONARA INSTEAD AND A MUSHROOM SOUP.



THE TASTE OF THE CARBONARA WAS JUST PLAIN AND TYPICAL.IT IS ABSOLUTELY NO MATCH TO ITALIANNIES'.YES,IT'S RUDE OF ME TO COMPARE A VALUE-FOR-MONEY SPAGHETTI SHOP WITH A RESTAURANT OF BETTER QUALITY.HOWEVER,TRY THIS PLACE IF ONLY...AND EVER ONLY...THAT YOU'RE STARVING AND HAVEN'T EATEN ANYTHING THE WHOLE DAY AS THE LARGE PORTION SERVED WILL DO A GREAT JOB IN KEEPING YOUR HUNGER AWAY.

SO THIS IS HOW B'DAY CUPCAKES LOOK LIKE...FROSTY CREAM DRESSING AND COLOURFUL B'DAY SPELLING CANDLES.

WE'RE AT espresSOUP...A PLACE WHERE FARMER BREAD AND TANTALISING SOUP MADE A PERFECT MATCH.

WE DIDN'T REQUEST HUGE AMOUNT OF FOOD...AS THE THICKNESS OF THE BREAD IS ALREADY KILLING UP MY UNBELIEVABLY BIG APPETITE...STRANGE..XD. YES,I'M DEAD FULL AFTER HAVING ONE OF THOSE FARMER BREAD.


MY SEAFOOD CLAM SOUP IN THE BREAD...THE SOUP TURNS OUT TO BE THICK AND CREAMY. HOWEVER,IGOT ANNOYED AT THE BREAD-CUTTING PART....YOU HAVE TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL SO THAT THE SOUP WILL NOT FLOW OUT THROUGH THE PUNCTURED HOLES YOU ACCIDENTALLY POKED USING YOUR DINING KNIFE...LOOLZ..XD.

ANOTHER ONE WITH MUSHROOM SOUP...TURNS OUT TO BE BETTER TASTING THAN MINE..XD.
FARMER BREAD IS ORIGINATED FROM GERMANY. IT'S MADE UP OF WHEAT AND RYE FLOUR, RENDERING IT TO BE EASILY DIGESTABLE AND NUTRITIOUS. HMM,INTERESTING STUFF THERE..XD.



FINALLY,SIS' CHICKEN HAM SANDWICH....XD.

DEFINITELY NOT A BAD PLACE FOR AFTERNOON TEA. JUDGING FROM THE PORTION SERVED,THE PRICE IS WITHIN REASONABLE RANGE....GO AHEAD IF THERE'S NOT ANY 'SUBWAY' AROUND...OR IF IT HAPPENS TO BE A CHILLY RAINY DAY.

THIRD POST BABY!!! THIS TIME IT'S ABOUT  POPULAR BARBEQUE RESTAURANT FROM THAILAND.

SINCE THIS IS MY THIRD GRILLING EXPERIENCE, I JUST HAVE TO RECORD WHAT WENT DOWN UP IN THIS LOG.LOLZ.

SO..WHAT'S UP WITH THIS PLACE? WELL,FIRSTLY,YOU HAVE TO EMBARK ON A LONG QUEUE DURING DINNER SESSION JUST TO GET YOURSELF A TABLE. THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLY CROWDED,ESPECIALLY WEEKENDS..YEAH...BE IT TIMES SQUARE OR SUNWAY PYRAMID.

THE RESTAURANT'S CONCEPT INVOLVES UNIQUE JAPANESE-BARBEQUE EXPERIENCE. THERE'S THIS SIGNATURE HOTPLATE WITH SOUP-BASED EDGE WHERE YOU GONNA COOK YOUR FOOD...AND A WHOLE  LOT OF SWEATING GOING ON..LOLZ.

WE ORDERED THE FAMILY SET,WHICH INCLUDES PORK,BACON,FISH FILLET,CHICKEN,UDON,SHRIMP,SQUID,CARROT,LETTUCE,BEANCURD AND E.T.C.

YES,I DO GET EXCITED..XD.

HOWEVER,THERE'S PARTICULAR TECHNIQUE TOO IN COOKING THE MEAT,SEAFOOD AND VEGETABLES UP ON THE SPECIAL CUSTOMIZED HOTPLATE...XD.
RAW AND UNCOOKED BABY!!!.
THERE'S THIS SPECIAL BARBEQUE SAUCE TOO (DEPICTED IN THE FIRST PHOTO ABOVE).THE SAUCE WENT SMOOTHLY WITH THE GRILLED SUCCULENT MEAT AND VEGETABLES. FOR A SPICY TWIST, DO MIX THE SAUCE UP WITH GARLIC,CHILI AND SQUEEZED LIME..NICE..XD.
LET THE BARBEQUE FIESTA BEGINS...

NOW..HERE'S A 'HOW TO COOK' MANUAL..NO WORRIES...IT'S JUST AS EASY AS ABC..OR NOT.

1.POUR THE CHICKEN STOCK  ONTO THE HOTPLATE (EVENTUALLY THE SOUP WILL FILL UP THE EDGE OF THE HOTPLATE..) AND GREASE THE LARD ON THE  HOTPLATE.THEN,PLACE THE VEGETABLES IN THE SOUP.

2.PROCEED TO GRILL THE MORSELS OF MEAT AND SEAFOOD ON THE HOTPLATE.

3.WAIT FOR THEM TO TURN GOLDEN BROWN..OR LIGHT BROWN FOR BEEF..

4.ADD MORE VEGETABLES INTO THE SOUP TO FURTHER SWEETEN IT UP.

5.LASTLY,PUT IN THE UDON NOODLES IN THE SOUP AND LET IT BE COOKED FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS.

DINNER IS OFFICIALLY READY TO SERVE. I GOTTA ADMIT IT,THE FOOD WAS FRESH AND NICE ON MOUTH.THE CHICKEN STOCK WAS AROMATIC AND THE SAUCE WAS STRANGELY DELICIOUS.NOT TO MENTION THE FUN TIME I HAD MESSING UP EVERYTHING ON THE PLATE..LOOLZ.DO GO AHEAD IF YOU GOT SICK AND TIRED OF THE CONVENTIONAL STEAMBOAT AND SHABU-SHABU.XD.

YEAH,I'M A DUDE WITH A SWEET TOOTH(OR TEETH??!!..HMM..)...AND EATING DESERT IN ITS FROZEN FORM IS DEFINITELY THE BEST WAY TO COOL OFF AT A SIZZLING HOT AFTERNOON. (WELL,BESIDES HANGING OUT AT A MALL.)

SO SHORTLY AFTER THE SUSHI MEAL,I...THE SWEET CRAVING ONE...SPOTTED THIS HOKKAIDO ICE-CREAM RESTAURANT LOCATED OUTSIDE HOKKAIDO ICHIBA,THE GARDENS. WELL,IT'S A PART OF THE RESTAURANT ANYWAYS...SO,I'VE DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY.XD.




NICE MENU BTW...
BUT STILL,I HAVE NO IDEAS WHAT THE FOREWORD MEANS...(I'M SUFFERING DEEPLY FROM JAPANESE-DYSLEXIA)
SO,WHAT'S THE BUZZ WITH THIS ICE-CREAM FROM HOKKAIDO??..HMM..

NOT SURE WHETHER THE PREPARING INGREDIENTS ARE FROM JAPAN,HOWEVER,IT'S DEFINITELY JAPANESE-INSPIRED.LOLZ.XD. THE EXTENSIVE MENU MAINLY COMPRISE OF REGULAR ICE-CREAM SCOOPS,SHERBETS,WAFFLES..AND OF COURSE...CREPES.




THIS PLACE HAS NICELY-DECORATED WALLS.DEFINITELY GOT THE WHOLE NIPPON VIBE FLIRTING AROUND. BY THE WAY,IT'S ALSO QUITE A CHILLY PLACE TO SERVE ICE-CREAM(SHIVERING..)..XD.

SO,I'VE ORDERED TWO DINE-IN ICE-CREAM DISHES...HERE WE GO...
CHOCO VANILLA WAFFLE

IT'S SIMPLE YET SUMPTUOUS...DOUBLE WAFFLE,EACH WITH SCOOP OF CHOCOLATE AND VANILLA ICE-CREAM RESPECTIVELY,TOPPING IT ALL OFF WITH ALMOND,PECAN AND CHOCOLATE SAUCE. ENOUGH SAID?..XD.

THE COMBINATION OF THE HOT WAFFLE AND THE COLD ICE-CREAM JUST KINDA BURST IN YOUR PALATE...FROLICKING WITH YOUR TASTE-BUDS WITH THE SHEER INTENSITY RESULTED FROM BALANCING OUT THE TEMPERATURE. THE TASTE IS STRONG..AND THE SAUCE PLUS NUTS DRESSING IS ABSOLUTELY MARVELLOUS.

TIRAMISU (WITH ALCOHOL)

NOW THIS IS THE PART WHERE GUILTY PLEASURE SETS IN AND PLAY WITH YOUR MIND. SPONGE FINGERS SOAKED IN KAHLUA,LAYERED WITH MASCAPORNE CHEESE AND TOPPED WITH COCOA POWDER.THIS IS THE ULTIMATE FANTASY FOR YOU TIRAMISU FANS OUT THERE. WHEN THE TIRAMISU MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH,YOU PRACTICALLY HAS ABANDONED YOURSELF TO THE GLASS. THE STRONG ALCOHOLIC FLAVOUR FROM THE KAHLUA LINGERS IN YOUR MOUTH LIKE IT'S 4TH OF JULY..AND THE MASCARPORNE CHEESE IS ABSOLUTELY NICE AND SWEET.

YES,I STILL CAN'T STOP DIGGING UP FOR ANY 'ACCIDENTAL' LEFTOVER IN THE COCKTAIL GLASS UPON FINISHING...HAHA..XD.

FEELING FAMISHED AFTER A WHOLE DAY OF SHOPPING SPREE,I AND MY FAMILY DECIDED TO STOP BY SUSHI ZANMAI,YES,THE HAPPENING SUSHI RETAURANT IN THE KL DINING SCENE TO DATE.





WE WENT TO FIRST BRANCH OF THE FRANCHISE...THE ONE LOCATED AT THE GARDENS.
BEFORE THE MAIN COURSES ARRIVED ,WE ORDERED A VARIETY OF SUSHI OF COURSE..AND I TOOK A FEW SNAPSHOTS....XD.

I CAN'T LIE,THE SUSHI DISHES WERE DELICIOUS.THE TEXTURE OF THE SEAFOOD SLICES..ESPECIALLY FOR THE SALMON SASHIMI...TASTED RAW AND FRESH.YES,CHOOSING SUSHI FROM THE CONVEYOR BELT CAN BE PRETTY TOUGH..AS THE TYPES OF SUSHI CAN BE MANIFOLD.
